Why I love weddings:

I love weddings because every wedding is unique and beautiful. It’s the biggest day of EVERY couple’s life, and I get to be a part of it.

A little about me

I was born down in Virginia and moved all around the South as a child. Finally, as a teenager settled in Mays Landing, NJ where I now reside with my beautiful wife Emily. I’ve got an enormous family so I put a lot of pride in my relationships with people. I have always been in the “people serving business”. I spent two years living in NYC living the “Actor’s Dream” while obtaining an education in Film and Entertainment. After getting married, I decided the life of an actor was not a secure one for us. We moved back to be near our families and the people we love. I now work in both the entertainment and hospitality business as a Restaurant Manager by day and a wedding MC/DJ by night. I’ve done every type of job imaginable. I even had the opportunity to work as a personality for a top radio station in southern New Jersey, but nothing beats entertaining people and being a part of the biggest day in someone’s life.

My most memorable wedding moment

My most memorable wedding moment would be a wedding I did in July of 2005. It was one of my first weddings as an MC/DJ and I played a song that not only encouraged everyone at the reception to literally jump out of their seats and run to the dance floor, but it also sparked a very exciting moment where the groomsman picked up the groom and the bridesmaids picked up the bride high into the air. They then danced around with the bride and groom on their shoulders for the ENTIRE song. I was blown away.

How I incorporate music requests

I tend to take everything a client requests to mind. I try my very best to make sure that every song a client wants to hear at their wedding gets played.

How I get guests up and dancing

When I am the DJ/MC at parties, guests always feel compelled to turn to the dance floor. I do not and will not get into people’s faces and force them to dance, but I always encourage everyone to make it to the dance floor at least once; even if that means dancing to the “Chicken Song” in the middle of the dance floor ALL BY MYSELF (which has happened once or twice…)

My DJ style

My DJ style is this and only this… it’s whatever style you want me to be. If you want me to get everyone dancing the entire time, I’ll do it. If you want me singing every song into the microphone, I’ll do it. If you want me to be completely silent and just play music, I’ll do it. I will even speak in a Southern accent the entire time… if you want me to. Anything you want, I do.

Other interests

I am an entertainer through and through. I sing, act, play instruments, and enjoy working a crowd. Very interested in being active; whether its sports or just working outside!
